Triple Vitality is a program designed for proactive seniors who wish to remain healthy, strong, and independent. It focuses on the 3 elements that contribute to overall health—physical exercise, mental stimulation, and social interaction.
Triple Vitality consists of a three hour session, evenly divided with one hour of gentle exercises, one hour of mentally stimulating activities, and one hour of social interaction. These times are approximate and can be adjusted to suit an individual. If one solid hour of exercise is too much, the session may start with half an hour of exercise, and end with half an hour of exercise. Everything is customized to suit the health, ability, and preference of each client.
The purpose of Triple Vitality is to encourage healthy, active, independent living among seniors. Success is celebrated and positive feedback is generously given by coaches. Triple Vitality consists of three hour sessions, with a recommendation of at least three sessions weekly.
For particularly inspired clients, small and attainable goals are set each session (or each week), allowing the positive effect of Triple Vitality to extend beyond the three-hour session. Clients are encouraged to try some very simple exercises, mentally stimulating activities or even personal household tasks between Triple Vitality sessions. The accountability of having a coach review goals with them will encourage activity and action between each session.
